Is lying morally wrong?
Many people ask themselves, if lying is
bad. There is no easy answer to this question. But personally I think, that
lying is acceptable as long as it is used to, for example, prevent someone from
being harmed emotionally by telling them the truth.
Lying had also become part of our nature.
Even toddlers at the age as low as six months start lying by faking crying.
Today during first ten minutes of conversation with a stranger, we lie at least
three times.
As for answering the question in the
title, I find lying not being morally wrong, as long as our intentions were
good.
To support your opinion, it would be better to give an example of how someone "prevented someone from being harmed emotionally" by lying to them instead of writing the middle paragraph, which has nothing to do with the question.
